Fox’s Real Estate was initially established in 1932 as L. Harding Smith Auctioneer, Valuer, Public Accountant and Estate and Commission Agents. After trading for over forty years Nigel Fox purchased the business and renamed it Fox’s Real Estate.
In 1997, Nigel Fox retired and sold the business to Stan and Hazel Engdahl. In 2003 Mick and Sue Flynn purchased the business and have been focused on building a trustworthy and dependable real estate agency, that local Gold Coast property sellers and buyers can truly depend upon. On July 1, 2004, Fox's Real Estate obtained the Jenman "Approved" certificate, reiterating the company's dedication and commitment to real estate ethics.
Mick Flynn
Principal
As the agency's owner and former banker, Mick has a wide variety of expertise and is well-versed in the finance industry. In 1985, Mick and his wife Sue Flynn founded Darwin Real Estate in the Northern Territory, which they ran until 2003. Darwin Real Estate was successful in all aspects of real estate throughout his tenure as CEO, including residential sales, rentals, commercial sales, and the sale of Commonwealth and Territory-owned properties.
After moving to the Gold Coast with their two young children in 2002, Mick and Sue bought Fox's Real Estate in April of that year. On July 1, 2004, Fox's Real Estate became an approved Jenman "Approved" agency.

Sue Flynn
Principal
With Arnott’s Biscuits and Paul Milk, Sue began her career as an administrative assistant. Sue returned to work after having her first child, joining her husband in the real estate business; she was given the task of creating Darwin Real Estate's residential property management staff, in which she excelled. Sue and her family made the move to the Gold Coast after working hard for many years and seeing their efforts pay off.
Sue and Mick, who had been happily raising their three children, saw a chance to go back into the real estate business on the Gold Coast. Sue and Mick opted to create a residential sales team based on ethics after purchasing Fox's Real Estate, a business that has been in operation since its founding in 1932.
Sue spends her time as a mother, a company director, and a respected salesperson, and she enjoys meeting new people and helping them live their dreams.
